LMLot Master

Acceptable use policy

Last updated October 31, 2026

Draft. This page isn’t in effect yet. It will be once it names the company that runs Lot Master, and shops will be told by email when it is.

Every shop on Lot Master takes payment on its own Stripe account, so what one shop sells can cost it its checkout and reflects on every shop. This policy says what may not be sold or published through Lot Master: on a shop’s website, through website checkout, or in newsletters sent from the app. It’s part of the terms of service.

Listings you send to eBay must also follow eBay’s own rules, which are stricter in places. Your Stripe account must follow Stripe’s.

Not allowed

  • Weapons: firearms, including deactivated guns; firearm parts; knives, bayonets and swords.
  • Ammunition, including dummy and inert rounds.
  • Ordnance and explosives, inert or not: grenades, shells, mines, fuzes and the like.
  • Counterfeits, and reproductions or replicas sold as originals. A reproduction may be sold only when it’s clearly described as one.
  • Paid chances at a prize: card breaks, mystery boxes, pay-to-pull, raffles and anything else where a buyer pays for a chance at what they’ll get. Sealed boxes and packs sold as they are, with the buyer opening them, are fine.
  • Anything illegal to sell where you or your buyer are, stolen goods, and items that infringe someone else’s trademark or copyright.
  • Content that promotes hate or violence against people for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or national origin, in your listings, descriptions, website pages or newsletters.

Allowed, at your own risk

Historical items bearing Nazi markings, such as swastikas or SS runes, may be listed when they’re presented as historical artifacts. You should know before you list them that:

  • Stripe and PayPal both prohibit items that promote hate or violence, and either may refuse payments or close your account over them.
  • eBay bans most items made after 1933 that show a swastika.
  • Some countries, including Germany, restrict selling or showing them.

Selling them is your decision and your risk. Nothing on a page may celebrate or promote what the markings stand for.

Fine to sell

Uniforms, medals, helmets, insignia, documents and photographs without hate symbols; trading cards, sealed product and graded slabs; and other collectibles that aren’t in the lists above.

Using the service itself

  • Don’t send newsletters to people who didn’t sign up for them, or buy or rent email lists.
  • Don’t try to reach another shop’s data, get around plan limits, or overload or attack the service.
  • Don’t use Lot Master to mislead buyers about who you are or what you’re selling.

What happens if a shop breaks this policy

Lot Master may act on what we find or what’s reported to us. Depending on how serious it is, we may:

  • ask you to take the item or content down, usually giving you 7 days;
  • hide the item or content from your website ourselves;
  • turn off website checkout or newsletters for your shop;
  • suspend the shop, or close it under the terms.

For anything illegal or dangerous we may act at once, without warning, and report it where the law requires. Otherwise we’ll tell you what’s wrong and give you a chance to fix it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our email or write to support@lotmaster.app and a person will look at it again.

Reporting a shop

If you see something on a shop made with Lot Master that breaks this policy, email support@lotmaster.app with the address of the page.
